The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has sounded a fresh warning over the long-term future of Lagos State, suggesting that the country’s commercial capital could undergo major political or structural changes in the coming decade if urgent action is not taken.
In a recent video shared on his official Facebook page, the outspoken cleric expressed concern about growing pressures within the state, pointing to issues of unity, governance, and sustainability. Reflecting on what he described as looming challenges, Ayodele remarked that Lagos requires deliberate efforts to maintain stability as its population and influence continue to expand.
Lagos, Nigeria’s economic powerhouse, has witnessed explosive growth over the years, with increasing demands on infrastructure, housing, transportation, and public services.
