FUBARA GIVES HILDA DOKUBO N70M TO ORGANISE RALLY AGAINST TINUBU, WIKE
Niger Delta Watch has been reliably informed that the suspended Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara contracted Nollywood actress, Hilda Dokubo who hails from Kalabari in Rivers State, to organise a rally to put pressure on President Bola Tinubu, and the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
Ms Dokubo who collaborated with Ijaw National Congress to avoid giving it political coloration, then tagged it "Ijaw National Sensitization Rally" on Tuesday, 25 March 2025
Niger Delta Watch learnt that the organisers of the rally initially planned to host it at Buguma in Rivers State but decided to host it in Bomadi, Delta State on the instruction of the alleged sponsor, Fubara, so as to avoid it being linked to him.
In the said rally, a vote of no confidence was passed on the administration of Tinubu. There was also a procession of people carrying casket with obituary pictures of Wike pasted on it.
One of the youth leaders who was among those who were contracted to mobilise people for the rally disclosed this to Niger Delta Watch. He alleged that Hilda Dokubo and the President of INC, Benjamin Okoba cheated him and others after collecting N70 million from Siminalayi Fubara.
The disgruntled youth leader claimed that Hilda gave them a paltry sum that wasn't sufficient to settle the people they conveyed in buses to the event, which resulted in chaos because the people thought they have taken money on their behalf.
