NYEGBAYE’s story begins in Ubeta, Ahoada, where he was raised within the Ediwhulu family line and surrounded by the traditions and cultural values of his Ekpeye heritage.

His early years were shaped by hardship and experiences that would later influence his outlook on life and music. In 2002, he moved to Munich, Germany, beginning a new chapter far from his homeland. The transition brought its own challenges, including isolation, family loss and the difficulties of adapting to a different environment.

Building a Sound from the Ground Up

His musical journey began with beatboxing, developing a natural relationship with rhythm before he expanded his skills into music production, beatmaking and vocal engineering.

By 2007, NYEGBAYE had begun teaching himself the technical aspects of music, gradually developing a sound that reflected both his African roots and his European surroundings.

Working under INOHA MUSIC, he created an uncompromising musical identity influenced by the emotional intensity of rap icon DMX, whom he regards as his musical godfather. That influence is blended with hard-hitting European Drill 808s, street-oriented Hip-Hop and the melodic energy of Afrobeat.
