BREAKING NEWS: Rivers APC Governorship Candidate Chinda Visits Flood-Affected Communities in Port Harcourt
The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Rivers State, Ogundu Kingsley Chinda, has visited communities affected by severe flooding in Port Harcourt, the state capital.
Chinda, who represents the Obio-Akpor Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, reportedly toured some of the affected areas and interacted with residents impacted by the flooding.
He was accompanied by his running mate, Major Jack, who also serves as the Majority Leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
During the visit, Chinda reportedly met with a large number of flood victims and residents, as he assessed the situation and listened to concerns arising from the flooding.
The visit comes amid growing concerns over the impact of flooding on communities, homes and livelihoods across parts of Port Harcourt.
Chinda’s engagement with affected residents provided an opportunity to hear directly from those experiencing the effects of the disaster and to observe the conditions in the affected communities.
