Breaking news: Peace Deals,Oko-Jumbo And Other Members Who Are Supporting Sim Are Quiet–Anabs Sara Igbe
Chief Anabs Sara Igbe has spoken about the ongoing political tension in Rivers State involving Nyesom Wike and Governor Siminalayi Fubara. He said that Governor Fubara and his supporters have chosen to remain calm despite the crisis.
In a video shared by SYMFONI TV, Igbe explained that even lawmakers such as Oko Jumbo and other Assembly members who support the governor have kept quiet during the dispute. According to him, they have not engaged in public attacks or political propaganda. He believes this shows that they are focused on peace rather than conflict.
He also said that Governor Fubara has not encouraged anyone to fight or insult Wike. Instead, he has maintained a calm and humble approach. Igbe suggested that this attitude should not be mistaken for weakness.
Speaking further, Igbe raised questions about past political disagreements involving Wike and other leaders in the state and country. He argued that if anyone believes in karma or consequences for past actions, such consequences should apply fairly.
In his words, "If you look at all the peace deals, even those assembly members that are supporting Sim, they're quiet. Sim himself is not propaganda, doesn't want to be involved in propaganda."
