Soludo Verifies APGA's Selection of Tinubu for the 2027 Presidential Election
Prof. Charles Soludo, governor of Anambra State, stated Thursday that the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has formally accepted President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as its candidate for the 2027 presidential election.
Over the course of the President's one-day working visit to the state, Soludo made the announcement at Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka.
As both parties believe in progressivism, he further emphasized that the APGA and APC would cooperate. According to Soludo, "Our party (APGA) began supporting the president at the center in 2011 before I joined, and we will continue to align and support the government at the center. We haven't changed the firm any more than others who claim to be progressive."
