MR. PROMISE JACOB, THE AHOADA WEST LGA ADMINISTRATOR PLAYS HOST TO THE BISHOP OF THE DIOCESE OF AHOADA, ANGLICAN COMMUNION. 

The Ahoada West LGA Administrator, Mr. Promise Jacob played host to the Bishop of the Diocese of Ahoada, Anglican Communion, Rt. Rev'd Hanson Onyejiuwaka and his entourage.

The event held on Tuesday, May, 6, 2025 at the Council Secretariat, Akinima, Ahoada West LGA, Rivers State with the aim of fostering development, peace and unity in the communities.

The discourse centered on potential partnerships between the Diocese and the community in areas to promote community development, peace and unity.

The Administrator highlighted the need for development in the community, specifically through initiatives like youth programs, economic empowerment and women empowerment.

The Bishop of the Diocese of Ahoada, Rt. Rev'd Hanson Onyejiuwaka Bernard, expressed his enthusiasm to explore opportunities for partnership that would greatly benefit the entire peace especially in the Areas of Peaceful co-existence.

The Ahoada West LGA Administrator, Mr. Promise Jacob appreciated the courtesy visit, while guaranteeing the eagerness to collaborate on initiatives that would promote the welfare of the community members and incorporate peace and unity within the Local Government.

The visit underscores the commitment of the Local Government and the Diocese to work together to inculcate peace and unity in the communities, Local Government and the State.

The Diocese and the Local Government will collaborate in a bid to identify areas of common interest as well as peace and progress.
