BREAKING NEWS: Nigerians happy with Tinubu’s reforms – Ganduje

 

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, on Tuesday hailed President Bola Tinubu as a visionary leader who Nigerians are beginning to respect because of his economic reforms.

Ganduje said the President deserves to be appreciated for his surgical approach to the rot he met when he came into office.

The former Kano governor disclosed this when he received a delegation of a support group named ‘Tinubu Young Generation Forum’ at the party secretariat in Abuja.

He said, “Our president is doing very well. He is a reformer and a visionary leader, he is focused, and we are happy with his reforms because his reforms are absolutely necessary for the social and economic development of this country.

“There is no doubt so many things went wrong over a long period of time and it would require a precision surgery before we can get it right. But we are happy that we have started seeing the outcome of the reforms, especially on the economic side and we believe this will continue to yield positive results so that our legacy and the Renewed Hope Agenda will be achieved.

“Also, we have established what we call a Progressive Institute that will be able to educate our members and enlighten them on our constitution, manifesto and programmes. The institute will also be able to provide inputs for the government to take necessary policies for the development of this country. So you can see that, as we said, it wouldn’t be business as usual.”

PUNCH Online reports that in August 2024, Ganduje assured Nigerians that the dividends of Tinubu’s nail-biting reforms would soon come to fruition.

Similarly, in September 2024, he also urged Nigerians to reaffirm their trust in the President as his government continues to spearhead comprehensive reforms to revamp the economy.
