Burna Boy, first African artiste to hit 2 billion streams in UK

Self-acclaimed ‘African Giant’, Burna Boy has proved himself once more, becoming the first African artiste to hit two billion streams in the United Kingdom.

The Grammy Award winner received a Brit Plaque at his sold-out show at Koko Camden in London on Monday night, on achieving this feat.

Few weeks ago, the ‘African Giant’ was presented with a Brit 1 billion streams plaque at his sold-out show at the London Stadium in June.

“I fought for it”, Burna Boy said in a viral video while receiving the plaque.

“Thank you very much. I appreciate you. Ehen, now that’s it. You’ve to fight for your right”, Burna Boy further said.
