Former Senate President loses mother at 89

Former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki’s has lost his mother Mrs Florence Morenike

In a statement, Dr Saraki said his mother, Mrs Saraki died peacefully on Tuesday.

“With profound sadness and total submission to the will of Almighty God, I announce the passing of my beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and matriarch, Chief Mrs. Florence Morenike Saraki, who peacefully transitioned Tuesday, June 18th, 2024.”

Dr Saraki said details regarding funeral arrangements will be shared in due course.

He appreciated those who showed love, prayers, and support as the family mourned Mama’s passing.
