Civil Service Week: Muslims urged to pray for national stability
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan has asked Nigerians, especially the Muslim Ummah, to remain fervent in prayers for the progress of the Nigerian Civil Service to sustain peace, stability, and national development.
She made the call during a Special Juma’ah Prayer held at the National Mosque, Abuja as part of activities marking the 2024 Civil Service Week.
Dr Yemi-Esan who was represented by the Permanent Secretary of, the Ministry of Police Affairs, Dr Nasir Gwarzo said Civil Service reforms anchored on the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had reached a critical stage in the reform process and that the time had come to celebrate the successes recorded so far.
According to her, today’s Civil Service was not only transformative but worthy of emulation by any Civil Service in the world.
The Chief Iman of the National Mosque, Professor Ibrahim Maqar offered prayers for the continued preservation and support of civil Servants.
