Hon. Izu Reuben Izu Joins Victor Obuzor on Solidarity Tour Across ONELGA
ONELGA, Rivers State — September 30, 2026: Hon. Izu Reuben Izu, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Rivers State House of Assembly, representing Ahoada West Constituency, joined Hon. Engr. Victor Obuzor, Member representing the Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni–Ahoada West Federal Constituency, on a solidarity tour across Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA) on Wednesday.
The engagement provided an opportunity for the political leaders to strengthen their relationship with constituents, engage directly with residents and stakeholders, and listen to issues and concerns affecting communities across the area.
The delegation was warmly received by residents and supporters during the tour. The interactions also provided an avenue for community members to express their views regarding the political aspirations of Hon. Obuzor and Hon. Izu Reuben Izu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Hon. Victor Obuzor was accompanied by a number of political leaders, stakeholders and supporters, including Hon. Gift Ali, High Chief Inime Wilson Karibo, Hon. Jimoh, Hon. Ned Loving and Hon. Promise Jacob, former Sole Administrator of Ahoada West Local Government Area, among other distinguished stakeholders.
Speaking through the engagement, the leaders reiterated the importance of grassroots participation, effective representation and people-oriented leadership, while emphasizing the need for continued dialogue between political representatives and the communities they seek to serve.
The solidarity tour further underscored the importance of direct engagement with constituents as political activities gradually build toward the 2027 general elections.
The gathering concluded with renewed calls for unity, collaboration and sustained engagement in advancing the interests and development of the people of the constituency and the wider region.
