Arsenal ready to make €100m bid for Osimhen

Arsenal are set to make a €100 million bid for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, which is €30 million short of Napoli’s release clause.

The Premier League giants aim to secure a deal for around €100 million or £85 million.

Bundesliga’s RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko has committed to the German club for another year, prompting Arsenal to explore other options.

Meanwhile, Artem Dovbyk of Girona is also being considered by the North London club.

Twenty-six-year-old Osimhen, who scored 26 league goals in 2022-23 for Napoli, helping the Italian side to the Siri A title, is also a potential target for another London side, Chelsea, as well as reigning France League Un champions, PSG.

Having for two successive seasons narrowly missed on the English Premier League title, Arsenal will be hoping that Osimhen’s proven ability to lead teams to glory could be the catalyst they need to topple Manchester City and bring the trophy back to North London after more than two decades.
